asked the Minister for Health if proposals are before his Department to increase the wages of agricultural workers employed at St. Patrick's Chest Hospital, Castlerea; and, if so, if he will sanction the proposals without delay.

A proposal to increase the wages of the agricultural workers at St. Patrick's Chest Hospital, Castlerea, has been submitted to my Department by the local authority. Subject to a very minor modification, the proposal has been approved.

Would the Minister say when approval was given?

Within the last two or three days.
