Vol. 146 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tory Island Slipway.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is proposed to construct a slipway at Camus Mor pier, Tory Island, County Donegal, to facilitate the islanders in hauling and beaching their heavy motor-boats.

An engineering inspection of the landing facilities on Tory Island has been made by the Commissioners of Public Works, but a decision as to the improvement works which might be carried out must await consideration and examination of the engineer's report, with estimates of cost, which it is hoped will shortly be available.
