Vol. 146 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Proposal for New Industry (County Cork).

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if proposals have been received in his Department for the starting of a new industry in the closed flour mills at Clondulane, Fermoy; and, if so, whether he will state the nature of the industry and when it is expected work there will commence.

One proposal for the establishment by private interests of an industry at Clondulane has come to my notice. The Deputy will appreciate that any information furnished to me by promoters about industrial proposals must be treated in the strictest confidence and that I can therefore give no details of the proposal in question.
