Vol. 146 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Housing Schemes.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether (a) he will examine the entire position regarding rents in housing schemes in Limerick City with particular reference to the alleviation of cases of hardship where the occupants are paying a fixed rent; and (b) if he will examine the present system of differential rents with a view to having the minimum amount payable reduced to a more just figure, without increasing the existing maximum amount payable.

An examination of rents on the lines suggested is a matter for the housing authority in the first instance.
