Vol. 147 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Edenderry Industry.

Mr. Egan

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state whether any proposals for the establishment of a heavy-type industry in Edenderry are before his Department; and, if so, whether such proposals have been or are likely to be approved by him.

There are no proposals for the establishment of any industry in Edenderry before my Department at present. The promoters of any sound proposal submitted to me will receive every encouragement.
