Messages From the Seanad.

The following messages have been received from Seanad Éireann:—

"(1) Seanad Éireann has made the following Order:—

That a Select Committee consisting of seven members be appointed to be joined with the Select Committee appointed by Dáil Éireann on 16th June, 1954, to direct and control the Oireachtas Restaurant.

That the quorum of the Committee be two.

That the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection.

(2) Seanad Éireann has made the following Order:—

That in pursuance of Standing Order 91F of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee of the Dáil to constitute the Standing Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills; and that the members of the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection.

(3) Seanad Éireann has made the following Order:—

That, in pursuance of Standing Order 56 of the Standing Orders relative to Private Business, a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee of the Dáil to constitute the Joint Committee on Standing Orders and that it be referred to the Committee of Selection to nominate the members of the Select Committee."

The Dáil adjourned at 8.40 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, 28th October, 1954.
