Vol. 147 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Limerick Dispensary.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state the cause of the delay in commencing work on the new dispensary at Doon, County Limerick; and if he will request the Limerick County Council to expedite the matter.

On the 17th July, 1953, approval issued to the proposal of the Limerick County Council for the purchase of a site in Doon, which had been selected by them for the erection of a new dispensary. It was pointed out to the local authority at the same time that they could proceed with the planning and erection of this dispensary without further reference to my Department. It is understood that the legal formalities in connection with the transfer of the site have not yet been completed, and I have asked the Limerick County Council to expedite this project.
