Vol. 147 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fermoy Hospital Post.

asked the Minister for Health if he will take steps to have a practitioner, who could deal with both medical and minor surgical cases, appointed to Saint Patrick's Hospital, Fermoy, so as to obviate the necessity for persons resident in the Waterford, Tipperary and Limerick border areas travelling long distances to the new county hospital in Mallow for minor surgical treatment.

The future use of Saint Patrick's Hospital, Fermoy, is the subject of discussion between the local authority and my Department. The Deputy's suggestion will be kept in mind.
