Ceisteann—Questions. Oral Answers. - Louth Employment Grants.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of South Louth (a) the number of special employment scheme grants which were sanctioned in the last three years, and (b) the number of applications for grants awaiting sanction.

It is assumed that the Deputy refers to the area comprised in the former rural districts of Ardee No. 1 and Louth. The information requested at (a) is in the form of a tabular statement and I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report. As regards (b), there are at present three rural improvements scheme applications under consideration.
