Vol. 147 No. 12

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, 1 to 3, inclusive. I do not know whether the House will be agreeable to take the amendments from the Seanad to the National Monuments (Amendment) Bill, 1954 so that we can dispose of them at once. They are very short.

I propose that we accept the Seanad amendments.

The Government agree with the amendments?

I should say that it is proposed to adjourn on the rising of the House to-day until 9th February, 1955.

I wish to give notice of my intention, with your permission, to raise the subject matters of Questions Nos. 63, 64 and 65 on yesterday's Order Paper on the Adjournment.

I will communicate with the Deputy.

I tabled a question with regard to the sale and acquisition of a farm in Tuam, which was Question No. 29 on the Order Paper of the 1st December. Because of the unsatisfactory reply I got at the time I intended to raise it on the Adjournment but other matters were being dealt with. I ask your permission to raise the question on the Adjournment to-night.

I will communicate with the Deputy in the course of the evening.
