Vol. 148 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick City Boundary Extension.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the present position in regard to the claim of the Limerick County Council against the Limerick Corporation in respect of the loss alleged to have been sustained by the county council as a result of the extension of the city boundary.

As the county council and the corporation failed to agree on the financial adjustment to be made in this case, an officer of my Department has been making detailed investigations to enable me to make the adjustment. I understand that he will be in a position to report to me within a month, after which I will have the matter dealt with as quickly as possible.
