Vol. 148 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Child Welfare Clinics.

asked the Minister for Health what is the position in regard to the provision of free medical supplies for ante-natal and child welfare clinics.

Persons in the lower income group, that is, broadly speaking, persons entitled to receive the services of the dispensary doctor, are entitled to receive medical supplies free of charge. Health authorities may make arrangements for the giving of such supplies at clinics or otherwise, as they think fit.
