Vol. 148 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Low Grade Tea Prices.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce why, in view of the fact that lowest grade tea has been reduced by 4d. per lb., the combined tea purchasing lists for the coming year show an increase of 8d. per lb. over the lowest price listed last year.

I have no function in connection with the fixing of prices to be paid to official contractors for tea supplied to local authority institutions under the Local Authorities (Combined Purchasing) Act, 1925.
