Vol. 148 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - South Tipperary Forestry Workers.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that Tipperary South Riding County Council have awarded an increase in pay of 5/- per week to road workers employed by them, and, if so, if he is now prepared to grant a similar increase to forestry workers in South Tipperary.

The Deputy may rest assured that any increase in the wages of road workers in South Tipperary will be applied to forestry workers in the area. I have not yet had any official confirmation of a pending increase.
