Vol. 149 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Smallholders in Limerick.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will request the Land Commission to investigate the position of smallholders of only three or four acres in Park and Rhebogue, Limerick City, with a view to providing increased holdings for them.

I understand that the people to whom the Deputy refers are all market gardeners living on the north and north-east outskirts of Limerick City.

I do not propose to ask the Land Commission to do as the Deputy suggests.
