Vol. 149 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pensioners Resident in Six Counties.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will introduce proposals for legislation to enable persons, who are in receipt of pensions from his Department, to draw those pensions if they go to reside in the Six Counties after their pensions have been granted.

I am having this matter examined in its various implications; and, if no grave objections come to light, I hope it will be possible to introduce legislation to enable recipients of old age pensions to continue receiving payment on going to live in the Six-County area.
