Vol. 150 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cashen River Fishermen.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that some unattached anchors in the Cashen River are causing severe damage to the fishermen's nets, and, if so, whether he will have them removed as soon as possible.

A number of small anchors were lost in a gale in the estuary and some of these have already been recovered. The local fishermen are co-operating in locating the few remaining and these will be removed when found.
