Vol. 150 No. 6

Written Answers. - Public Works and Buildings Vote.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline the general content of the works under item 131, sub-head B, Vote 9—Public Works and Buildings; further, whether work is being carried out by the corps of engineers or by contract.

The work comprises the installation of a new and improved electricity distribution system throughout the Curragh Camp, including the provision of a high tension ring main, transformers, low tension service cables, extended street lighting, etc.

With the exception of the housing for transformers, etc., which has been built by the Army Corps of Engineers, the work is being carried out by contract.
