Vol. 150 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Meath: Uneconomic Holders.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have yet completed their examination of the uneconomic holders in the vicinity of the Brady estate, Spiddal, Nobber, County Meath, and, if so, if he will state (a) the number of such holders in the district, and (b) whether there are proposals to give them additions of land, and, if so, the nature of such proposals.

There are two uneconomic holders living in the vicinity of this estate and, as I have stated in reply to previous questions, their applications will be sympathetically examined.

I do not think, however, that I should disclose at this stage any allotment proposals which the commissioners may have under consideration.
