Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Waterford Forestry Workers' Wages.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that the Waterford County Council have increased road workers' wages by 7/6 per week, and, if so, if he will take steps to have the wages of forestry workers in County Waterford adjusted accordingly.

The increase of 7/6 per week which has recently been sanctioned for road workers employed by the Waterford County Council will be applied to forestry workers in County Waterford forests with effect as from 1st April, 1955.
