I am informed by the E.S.B. that the Tracton area, County Cork, which includes Minane Bridge and Nohoval, was considered for development by the board on a number of occasions but was not selected because the percentage of householders willing to take supply compared unfavourably with returns for other areas. The area will be reconsidered by the board in a few months' time in the light of revised returns and the decision of the board will depend on how these returns compare with those for other areas awaiting development in the Cork district.
