Vol. 152 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Generating Stations: Labour Employed.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the number of (a) unskilled labourers, and (b) skilled men, employed on work in connection with the proposed generating stations at (1) Oweninny, and (2) Bangor on 30th June, 1954, and 30th June, 1955, respectively.

The recruitment and employment of labour are matters entirely for the E.S.B., and I would suggest that the Deputy might address his inquiry to the board.

Will the Minister assure me that there is no go-slow policy in operation in the Bangor area?

The Deputy may have that assurance without qualification.
