I am not in a position to add anything to the reply which I gave in Dáil Eireann to a question by the Deputy on this subject on 21st June last. The report which the G.N.R. Board was requested to furnish has not yet been received and will not, I understand, be available until later in the year.
Has the Minister any comment to make regarding the very definite proposals which have been published giving minute details of the proposed changes in Donegal transport?
I know nothing about them whatsoever.

All I can say is that I know nothing whatever about these proposals. I am awaiting a report from the G.N.R. Board and when it comes to hand——
Further arising out of the Minister's reply, will the report he is awaiting from the G.N.R. Board cover all the Donegal transport problems or have they been asked to report on a specific item or items?
The G.N.R. Board were asked by my predecessor to report on the whole question.

The G.N.R. Board have only a partial interest in Donegal transport; there are others operators there as well.
We are interested in the question here only in so far as it affects the G.N.R. Board and until their report is available I cannot indicate what it will contain. I am trying to get their report and I have asked them to have its issue expedited as much as possible. No later than a few weeks ago the board's chairman said it would probably be September before the report would be available.
Would the Minister say——
