Vol. 152 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin School.

asked the Minister for Education whether he is aware that Garristown School is at present overcrowded, and, if so, when it is proposed to build the required additional room.

I am aware that Garristown National School, County Dublin, is overcrowded at present, and my Department has recently sanctioned a grant for the provision of the additional classroom required to cater for the needs. I am not in a position to say when work on the extension will commence but I have asked the Commissioners of Public Works to have the necessary preliminary arrangements concluded with all possible speed.
