asked the Minister for Defence why tradesmen and labourers employed by the corps of engineers at Coolmoney military camp, Donard, County Wicklow, have not received the increase of 3d. per hour, which has been granted to all tradesmen and labourers in County Wicklow.

Arrangements have recently been made to pay the increase mentioned in the question to tradesmen at Coolmoney Camp. The question of granting the increase to labourers at the camp is at present under consideration.
