Vol. 153 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Provision of Kerry Bog Roads.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that turf producers who intend to supply the generating station at Deelis, Cahirciveen, will require roads into certain bogs, and that it will be necessary to carry out certain drainage operations, and, if so, if he will make grants available for those purposes.

I am at present unable to add anything to the reply given by me on the 13th July last to the Deputy's previous question on this matter.

Can the Parliamentary Secretary say when he will be in a position to make an announcement on the matter?

I cannot say at the moment—not until we know what is going to happen.
