Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Native Wheat Prices.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce how the figures £40 16s. and £34 8s. as the prices per ton of native wheat of the 1954 and 1955 harvests, respectively, were arrived at.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the desired information.

The figures of £40 16s. and £34 8s., as the estimated costs per ton of native wheat of the 1954 and 1955 harvests, were arrived at as follows:—
