NOTE.—On the 5th January, 1953, the National Health Insurance Fund, the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions Fund and the Unemployment Fund were merged in the Social Insurance Fund established on that date by the Social Welfare Act, 1952. The figures given for the year ended 31st March, 1953, are the consolidated figures for the four Funds.
