Owing to the amount of preliminary work—preparation of plans and specifications, seeking of tenders, etc.— which has yet to be done it is not possible at this stage to say when the actual work of extending the lace centre at Bruckless will commence but I assure the Deputy that it will be hastened as much as possible.
