asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state, in respect of each county, the amount received into the Road Fund in 1955.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

(b) The amounts include substantial sums collected in respect of motor vehicle duties payable for 1956.

(c)“Motor taxation” includes motor vehicle duties, driving licence duty and miscellaneous fees, etc.

(d) The figure shown for Dublin County Borough Corporation includes sums collected for the Dublin County area as well as for Dublin City.
