The latest date to which information is available in the Department is the 31st March, 1955. At that date, the number of cottages vested in tenants by the Limerick County Council was 1,013.
If a tenant is dissatisfied with the repairs carried out to his cottage for the purpose of vesting, it is open to him under Section 18 (2) of the Labourers Act, 1936, to seek a determination from the Minister of the matters in dispute.
