Vol. 155 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Galway General Post Office.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when work will be commenced on the new general post office in Galway City.

I am informed that tenders for the erection of the proposed new head post office buildings at Galway have been received and are at present being considered by the Commissioners for Public Works. It is not possible yet to say with certainty when building operations will commence.

Can the Minister indicate when it will be complete?

I am not in a position to say that.
