Vol. 155 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Westmeath Turbary Plots.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that there are 170 applicants for turbary on the 400 acre Ballinderry Bog, Maguire Estate, Moate, County Westmeath, which was acquired two years ago, and whether, in view of the fact that many of the applicants have to go seven to eight miles for turf, he will arrange to have the proceedings expedited.

The preparation of a scheme for the division of this estate is at present in hands and will be expedited as much as possible.
