Vol. 156 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions Oral Answers. - County Donegal Landing Places.

asked the Minister for Local Government what grants, if any, have been made available since 1st January, 1956, for the repair or construction of landing places on the Donegal coast.

Since 1st January, 1956, a scheme estimated to cost £2,325 has been approved by the interdepartmental committee attached to Oifig na Gaeltachta agus na gCeantar gCúng in respect of improvement of landing facilities at Port, Inver, County Donegal. The assistance sanctioned is conditional on the local county council making the usual contribution of 25 per cent. of the estimated cost.

Is this a grant from the National Development Fund?

It is from the fund allocated to Oifig na Gaeltachta agus na gCeantar gCúng.
