Vol. 156 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mayo Turbary Plots.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission will be in a position to provide turbary plots this year for the new tenants in Courthill and Rathcash, Boland and Campbell estates, County Mayo.

The proceedings instituted by the Land Commission for the acquisition of the shares of Clydagh bog, which are not in their possession, have reached an advanced stage. Price appeals have, however, been lodged and until these are disposed of I cannot indicate whether or when it will be possible to provide the tenants in question with turbary plots.
