Vol. 156 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Louth Drainage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to commence work on drains flowing into the Killanny river between Lannet and Tullydrum, County Louth.

Work under the Glyde and Dee catchment drainage scheme has been completed on all channels in the Lannet-Tullydrum area with the exception of the drain forming the boundary between the two townlands. The scheduled work on this drain was deferred in view of a request by the local landowners for drainage along an alternative route. This has been agreed, and work will be resumed within the next few weeks.
