asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce what is the present position in regard to the establishment of an airport at Cork.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Airport.
A final decision in regard to the establishment of an airport at Cork was deferred pending conclusion of the discussions with the British about the amendment of the air agreement. As I stated in Dáil Éireann on 29th February, these discussions have been completed but the terms of the amended agreement have not yet been finally settled. When this has been done a decision will be taken on the Cork Airport question.
