Vol. 157 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cashel-Goold's Cross Passenger Services.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware of the delay on the part of C.I.E. in providing a road passenger service between Cashel and Goold's Cross in replacement of the rail service recently closed, and, if so, if he will make inquiries as to the reason for the delay.

The provision of adequate transport services in the area previously served by the railway line between Cashel and Goold's Cross is the statutory responsibility of C.I.E. Any representations which the Deputy may wish to make in the matter should therefore be addressed direct to C.I.E.
