Vol. 158 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Payment for Kerry Turbary.

asked the Minister for Lands why the former owners have not yet been paid in respect of turbary in the townland of Tullamore on the Ormathwaite estate, County Kerry, which was acquired by the Land Commission four years ago.

Land bonds representing the residue of the purchase money of this estate were allocated last November.

The Deputy may possibly have in mind the existence of grazing and turbary rights over portion of the lands; the users of such rights would not, of course, be entitled to any payment out of the purchase money but their rights will be taken into account on the disposal of the lands.
