Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Wexford Forestry Land.

asked the Minister for Lands whether any lands at Cushenstown, Ballinaboola, County Wexford, have been acquired for forestry purposes.

Four offers totalling 78 acres in the townland of Cushenstown, County Wexford, have been offered for forestry purposes. Agreement to purchase one offer of 26 acres has been reached and title is being investigated. When this area has been acquired negotiations for two dependent offers totalling 20 acres will be opened. Negotiations are proceeding independently for the remaining offer of 32 acres.
