Vol. 158 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Allocation of Meath Turbary.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the bog on the Craig Waller estate, Bohermeen, Navan, is to be allocated to local applicants in the near future, and, if so, whether the people who are at present using it for the production of turf for sale will be given special consideration.

Whilst a scheme for the division of this bog is now in course of preparation I am as yet unable to indicate when disposal will be effected but there will be no avoidable delay. All applications for plots will be fully considered.
