Vol. 160 No. 1

Written Answers. - Limerick Compulsory Purchase Orders.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has received from the Limerick Corporation an application for compulsory purchase orders, and, if so, if he will state the date and purpose of such application, and what is the present position in the matter.

I have received a compulsory purchase order from the Limerick Corporation. The order is dated the 27th February, 1956, and covers the acquisition of land at Upper Carey's Road, Limerick, for the erection of 50 houses. Objections against the order having been lodged with me, I am arranging for the holding of a public local inquiry in the near future.
