Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Examinations for Public Appointments.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of each open and confined competitive examination held since 1st January, 1945, for the purpose of making appointments to situations as executive officer, customs and excise officer and district court clerk, respectively, (a) the number of vacancies offered, (b) the number of candidates found qualified, (c) the number of appointments made, and (d) the number of appointments made in excess of the number of vacancies offered.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.
