Vol. 161 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Price of Creamery Milk.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state whether he recently received a deputation from the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers' Association advocating an increase in the price of milk supplied to creameries, and whether he proposes to take any action in relation to their representations.

I recently received a deputation from the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers' Association. Matters arising from the discussion on various aspects of the dairy industry are receiving consideration. As the Deputy is aware, it is not the practice to publish particulars of discussions of this kind.

Two more questions in a couple of weeks.
