Vol. 162 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Kildare Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he will ask the Land Commission to consider, in consultation with the Department of Finance, the acquisition for division of lands held by that Department in County Kildare, with a view to their being worked in accordance with methods conducive to good husbandry and increased production.

The Land Commission are dealing with two offers of State lands in Co. Kildare. If further State lands are offered to them the Land Commission will consider such offers in consultation with the Department of Finance, if necessary.

May I inquire, arising out of those questions, whether it is the view of the Fianna Fáil Party, as well as that of Deputy Corry, that Deputy Dooley does not adequately represent their interests in the county?

The Minister is not responsible for the views of the Fianna Fáil Party.
