Vol. 162 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Compulsory Purchase Order.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will expedite the confirmation of the Compulsory Purchase Order, 1956, in respect of Carey's Road Upper, so that the Corporation of Limerick may proceed with plans for the development of the area for housing.

An inquiry into the Upper Carey's Road area Compulsory Purchase Order, 1956, was held on the 29th January last, and the report of the inspector who held the inquiry is at present under examination in my Department. I hope to be in a position shortly to give a decision on the Order.
