Vol. 162 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Advertising of Tourist Attractions.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce what steps have been taken to advertise our tourist potential for the coming season in Britain and other countries.

The function of advertising abroad this country's tourist attractions is assigned by statute to Bord Fáilte Éireann and it is to that body that any inquiry on the subject should be addressed. Details of the advertising and publicity campaigns undertaken by the board in Britain and other countries are, of course, given in the board's annual reports, which are presented to both Houses of the Oireachtas.
