Committee on Finance. - Bretton Woods Agreements Bill, 1957—Money Resolution.

I move:—

That for the purpose of any Act of the present session to make provision with respect to acceptance by the Government of the Agreements for the International Monetary Fund and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and to provide for matters (including payments) related to the matters aforesaid it is expendient to authorise the charge on and payment out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of

(a) any payments appropriate to be made to the International Monetary Fund or to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development or to other members of the International Monetary Fund as provided for in such Act, and

(b) the principal and interest of any securities issued for the purpose of borrowing under such Act and the expenses incurred in connection with their issue.
