Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - C.I.E. Wages Grade Superannuation Scheme.
C.I.E. submitted to me a draft amending superannuation scheme for their wage grade employees on 13th May of this year. Notice of these proposals was given in the public Press so that interested persons who wished to make representations to me could do so. Following receipt and consideration of representations, I indicated my intention to make an Order confirming a revised scheme and C.I.E. were then asked to revise their draft scheme to give effect to my decisions. The revised scheme was received in my Department on 19th October and I anticipate that the confirming Order will be made in the course of the next few days.
The scheme will have retrospective effect from 1st April, 1956.
