Vol. 164 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sale and Distribution of Razor Blades.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if the Fair Trade Commission have investigated the sale and distribution of razor blades in the State, and, if so, when this investigation was held, and whether the commission intend to make fair trading values covering such sale and distribution, and, if so, when.

The Fair Trade Commission have not carried out a formal inquiry under the Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1953, into the supply and distribution of razor blades. I understand, however, that the commission have under consideration at present the question of preparing fair trading rules in relation to razor blades.
